Description

Just steps from the Zocalo, and overlooking the church of Santa Prisca, this historic house turned hotel, features a room with a queen bed, it's own private bathroom, cable flat TV, a fan and it's decorated in Mexican decor. It shares the terrace with other rooms at the hotel, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of this magic town. The space The Hotel Mi Casita is the former house of Mexican fashion designer Tachi Castillo. Facing the 'Casa Borda', the family house turned hotel / Bed and Breakfast is located above the Centro Joyero, where the 'Taller de Los Castillo' once stood, in the heart of the historic downtown of Taxco, the world famous 'Silver City'. As featured in 'Condé Nast Traveler - Room with a View', Hotel Mi Casita offers breath-taking views of the church of Santa Prisca from every room. Guest access Guests can access the Lobby area and the shared terrace. Other things to note The city of Taxco is built on the mountain. The terrain is uphill, or downhill, and there is a lot of walking uphill to do in the town so wear comfortable shoes. The Hotel Mi Casita is above the centro joyero so there are stairs to get to us. You can park at the bottom of the street to check in and leave your luggage and then go park the car if you have one.
