A modern and very well-equipped kitchen will keep keen chefs happy and everyone can enjoy the results in a separate dining room. An extra decadence is the free-standing roll-top bath within the master bedroom, however a family shower room is also provided. Outside, enjoy a generous size, enclosed garden with patio area, garden furniture and a barbecue for summer al fresco dining. The lodge sit at the entrance of 36 acres of parkland, where you can stroll across manicured lawns, enjoy a Victorian pleasure garden and walk through a walled garden that stretches for over an acre. The estate is nestled in North Cumbria, with spectacular views over the undulating landscape to the Scottish hills beyond. Glorious walks abound, including a path along the River Esk, a babbling brook that is beautifully clear. For larger groups, the neighbouring properties Clock Tower Apartment (sleeps 2 guests), Coach House (sleeps 4 guests), Engineer Apartment (sleeps 2 guests), Salutation Apartment (sleeps 2 guests) and Sir Walter Scott Apartment (sleeps 4 guests) are also available to book within the grounds of Netherby Hall.
