The space This ground floor apartment is in the popular village of Dunvegan on the quiet North West of the Isle of Skye. With lovely views over the MacLeod’s Tables and of Loch Dunvegan, this offers a wonderful retreat for up to 4 people. The apartment is very well appointed and ideal for up to 4 people - adults or those with children aged 12 and over. You enter into a light and bright well equipped kitchen /diner. The view to the front of the property from the living room is fantastic - looking right over MacLeods Tables with Loch Dunvegan to the side. The super king bedroom has views to the front of the property. The king bedroom has views of the garden. The property benefits from two shower rooms. On the site but separate from the apartment is a laundry room available to our guests at a small extra cost. The property is within easy walking distance of the village amenities including places to eat if you fancy a night off from the cooking. You can walk to the famous Dunvegan Castle and gardens or take a short trip to the nearby Coral Beach. Boat trips go from the castle in the summer to spot the seals in Loch Dunvegan. Seasonal opening times apply to a number of attractions and restaurants. The world-renowned Three Chimneys restaurant is less than 5 miles away and the up and coming Edinbane Lodge is only just over 10 minutes drive away. The area is a haven for walkers and wildlife enthusiasts and has beautiful views wherever you go. Just a little further away (about a 25-30 minute drive) is the capital town of Portree with a good selection of restaurants and shops. Whatever you choose to do on this fabulous island, a warm welcome will await you on your return to this comfortable apartment. This apartment has easy access with a parking space right beside it so is well suited to those who have restricted mobility. We also rent out a separate loft apartment above with a king size bedroom - when both are rented together they are an ideal way to go away with friends who also enjoy their own space. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the apartment with your own front door and key and are welcome to enjoy the shared garden. There is one free parking space for guests staying in the apartment just near the kitchen door entrance. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk down our track to the edge of the village, with its small shops and eating places. Other things to note We provide towels, bed linen and essentials such as locally handmade soap, washing up liquid and toilet rolls to get you started. We are happy to store bikes in the dry for you.
