Family castle for 200 years, near Uzès and the Cévennes
The chateau de la Condamine The property has been a family home since 1804. It has been gradually restored through the years by the same family, and has kept its authentic character. From the original buildings, dated 15th century, there remains a pretty paved courtyard and tower, with a spiral staircase leading to the upper floors. The height of the vaulted ceilings in most of the rooms gives an impression of vast proportions. The classical facade overlooks a walled garden "à la française" of 1 hectare with shady walks between pruned box trees and the private swimming pool (11m x 5m x 2.20 m) with its solarium.
