Set in the heart of over 150 acres of private fields & ancient woodland, it gives the feeling of total seclusion. If you can drag yourself away from the luxurious accommodation, beautiful grounds, heated swimming pool & tennis court, you are perfectly located for all Cornwall has to offer: Bodmin is 10 minutes away, the Camel Trail is just there & it's an easy 35min drive to both the north & south coast. The space Preparing meals is a joy in the spacious, traditional kitchen where friends and family can sit comfortably on the sofa in front of the woodburner, or the children can have tea at the breakfast table. The 5-door AGA not only enables a feast to be conjured up for your guests, but exudes that wonderful homely feel so many love. Next to it is a standard electric oven and hob for added options and a huge slate-lined larder to store your food and drinks. With French doors onto a large sun-drenched terrace, festooned with wisteria in May and ample outdoor seating for all the party, have a BBQ or play a game of croquet on the lawn. The warm red dining room comfortably seats 14 with an open fire. Complete your evening by moving into the cosy drawing room, curling up by the blazing fire and, if you are lucky enough to have a musician in your midst, enjoying a ditty on the baby grand piano or listen to your favourite playlist on the inbuilt Sonos system. The serene bedrooms all have supremely comfortable mattresses and crisp white sheets. 5 of the 7 are en suite ensuring no queues form and giving you time to enjoy the Organic Bloom Remedies products we supply. For the ultimate relaxation why not book a massage in our beautiful new treatment room located between Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2. With your own heated swimming pool (in season), beautifully maintained tennis court and over 4 acres of grounds at your disposal, there is no shortage of available activities but should you be looking further afield, for culture, food, or a family day out, 'The Insider' will be able to supply you with the inspiration you might be looking for. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire house which includes 4 acres of lawns, as well as the pool and tennis court. The fields and woodland surrounding the property are private. Other things to note *The swimming pool is seasonal and is generally open between May-October. It can be dewinterised and heated upon request for a fee - please feel free to enquire* We do not supply chop sticks.
