Description
A bespoke, newly constructed, environmentally friendly and cosy Shepherd's Hut, located in a quiet field with rural views and access to the nearby river Leven. With double bed, wood-burning stove, and two comfy armchairs. Just a few paces to the kitchen, shower and loos. Basic breakfast items (milk, tea, coffee, butter, jam, bread or croissants) are provided for you in the kitchen but you also have your own kettle and supplies to make tea and coffee in your own cabin. The space We aim to give a relaxing stay to guests and offer healthy and environmentally-friendly living spaces. We are very happy to cater for vegetarian, plant-based and gluten-free diets. We have several rescue hens and guests will be supplied with eggs when the girls are laying! The cabin has an integral double bed, with crisp hotel-standard bedding. The towels are soft and plush. There is storage under the bed, a built in table on which there is a kettle and all you need to make tea, coffee or a cold drink. There is also a radio. If you don't feel you need or want to light the wood-burning stove, you can plug in a small radiator to take any chill off in the cooler nights. The Facilities Suite (a very short few steps from the cabin) houses a kitchenette with a two hob stove, a microwave, a washer and dryer, kettle and toaster. It is always at an ambient temperature thanks to ground source heating coming through the Yorkshire flags, and this also provides bags of hot water. Each of the two cabins has its own designated loo (one suitable for disabled guests) with a shared shower room and two basins. In the event of rain, an umbrella (and also a torch) is provided for the short walk between the cabin and the Facilities Suite. Why not book both cabins for yourselves and friends or family and enjoy a group mini break? Guest access Plenty of parking with a short walk to your cabin. Free access (at own risk) to open fields and river Other things to note The cabin is one of only two. The two cabins share the bathroom and kitchen facilities but are allocated their own loo (there are two).
