Villa Lunheim, Skaland

Recently renovated villa by the foot of the famous mountain Husfjellet. The house is located in a small village called Skaland with connection to the National tourist road at Senja. Senja is like an enormous playground for outdoor types who like a challenge. For everyone who wants to do hiking, paddling, diving or free-riding down steep hills, Senja is an eldorado. Villa Lunheim is located in the middle of all this spectacular scenery. The space Sometimes in the winter you can see killer whales and humpback whales from the living room window of the house. This happens when the Herring comes all the way in to Bergsfjorden and the whales are chasing them. Guest access The whole house Other things to note It takes approximately three hours to drive from Tromsø to Skaland. A long part of the road to Senja, is the official Northern Lights Route, so it is often a spectacular drive during the dark season. It is aslo approximately three hours drive from Harstad/Evenes. Both ways will give you stunning scenery. There are no problem driving during the winter season. The roads are well prepared day and night, and the rental cars are well equipped.
