Dear visitors! We warmly welcome you again! A current coronavirus test is mandatory, max. 48 hours. Our lovingly designed 2-room apartment is located in a historic factory building from the 19th century right on the old market in the center of Stolberg (South Harz). The apartment was designed by the well-known Berlin artist Andrei Krioukov and offers a high level of coziness and comfort. In 3 minutes you can walk to the city center, where you will find various restaurants and shops. The space In our ArtApartment you will find numerous art objects which were specially selected and installed for this house by the artist Andrei Krioukov. But we owe Andrei not only the art objects, but also the entire interior design. The newly renovated apartment is located on the ground floor of the house and has a bedroom, an open kitchen-living room and a bathroom with a tub. In the bedroom there is a double bed, which can be pushed apart by arrangement, a cozy large armchair and a wardrobe with enough storage space for your clothes, even for a longer stay. In the eat-in kitchen there is the folding couch, a dresser and a shelf, the TV, the dining table and the newly built, fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge and all dishes, etc.). A glass brick wall between the bedroom and living room creates an exciting play of light and both rooms are flooded with light. In the bathroom you will find a small shelf and a clothes rack next to the sanitary facilities. Our large courtyard offers you plenty of space to relax, have breakfast outside and enjoy the fresh air in the hammock. For our little guests, there is a sandbox. Guest access The apartment is accessible 24/7 as you will receive your own key to the apartment and the house during your stay. You can also stay in the courtyard at any time. Other things to note Currently there is the exhibition "Longing for Freedom" in Stolberg Castle by the artist Andrei Krioukov, who also designed the apartments. You can visit the exhibition for free and take postcards with you. The works will be exhibited from August 1st August to November 1, 2020. - Since Stolberg is a health resort and offers many other tourist activities, we have to collect a visitor's tax for the city. This is done on site and is calculated as follows: per person per night: Adults €2.20 Children up to 7 years €0.00 Children 7-18 years €1.50 Severely disabled under 100% €1.30 100% disabled and accompanying person €0.00. With the fee you will receive a bus ticket for the entire stay as well as other discounts. - Children up to 7 years of age stay with us free of charge. Please book for all persons older than 7 years old and just let us know about the little guests. However, please note the maximum occupancy of 3 people. If there are four of you (including children), please contact us. - Animals stay with us for €10,- per stay. - We are happy to offer you a package of bed linen and towels for a surcharge of €4,- per person per stay. Children under 7 years old are exempt. You can also bring your own bed linen. Please let us know. - There is a 50 Mbps Internet line in the whole house as well as in the courtyard (which is a rarity in Stolberg =)). - The house is located at the foot of the Schlossberg, which gives you a beautiful view of Stollberg Castle, both from the apartment and from the courtyard. - If needed, there is an extra bed, a high chair and a children's travel cot for you free of charge. Our housekeeper has an electric grill available for rent. - We have a stroller and a handcart for rent at a fee of €10 per stay. - No open fire is allowed in Stolberg (no barbecue or fireworks either) as there are 320 half-timbered houses in our city that are protected by the UNESCO World Heritage.
