Electricity is generated by the sun, hot water heated by a solar thermal system and heating, in the cold months, is powered by wood coming exclusively from the care and pruning of the company forest. The water that flows from our springs is used sparingly, because every drop is a precious treasure. We also thought we would like to provide guests with electric vehicles with a charging station. In the company we relieve donkeys in the wild, free to graze as before, we cultivate ancient Sicilian grains, custodians of authentic flavors, and we produce an organic extra virgin olive oil that encloses the sun and passion of our land. We have invested every energy in making the chalet a welcoming and comfortable place, a refuge for those who share our values, for those who are sensitive to environmental issues and aware of the importance of responsible use of resources.
