Set in the beautiful North Wessex Downs there are walks or runs galore on your doorstep. Bring a kite or a mountain bike for the Ridgeway. The house is private & enchanting! The space This Georgian style house is full of character with light & spacious rooms. An indoor games room with pool table is fun for all ages. The large inviting, sumptuous drawing room with squishy sofas & a marble fire place adds a little grandeur to help you relax in style and comfort chatting and laughing with family & friends. 10 spacious bedrooms invite you to slumber til your heart's content. 2 downstairs cloakrooms, 2 ensuite bathrooms & 3 family bathrooms ensure there's plenty of room to pamper yourself. There is also plenty of secure free parking on site. Ultrafast Fibre Optic Broadband and a bluetooth speaker mean you can download your favourite playlist and dance the night away. 2 Smart TV's are great for movie watching if there's time between catching up and partying. The large dining room also opens to the kitchen farmhouse table in the kitchen with French doors open or open the doors to the patio and draw up the outside dining table. Lay out a buffet for a relaxed dining experience. Why not order your groceries to be delivered. For something special book a local caterer to prepare a delicious feast just ask Iris for recommended details. Or drop by Saddleback Farm Food shop to collect a pre-ordered fresh, organic meal on the way to the house. The local eatery and pub The Plough at Eastbury is just 3 miles away and serves local produce but best to book as it's popular! You can either walk or drive and take a taxi back. French doors lead onto the south facing terrace from the dining room and the sitting room where a bubbling hot tub awaits. Wicker style garden furniture provides nice comfort for chatting & relaxing on the terrace. The large garden is a great space for outdoor games such as silent disco, mobile archery, silent clay pigeon shooting, chocolate making or prepare yourself a deluxe picnic and lounge the afternoon away on the lawn! Whilst the hot tub soothes and unwinds there's plenty of gorgeous outdoor space on the terrace to spread out, play games or catch up with friends and family news. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house, garden, terrace, parking area, and hot-tub. A sauna is inside the house and open for guests to use when they wish. Other things to note A bath towel and hand towel are provided for each guest. We please ask guests to bring a towel for hot tub use. The hot tub is available for bookings of 2 nights and above. It is excluded in our 1 night stays but can be booked at an additional fee. All surfaces are cleaned with anti-bacterial solution between guests. There's handsoap in every bathroom. All bed linen is laundered off site by a professional company and delivered weekly. All towels are laundered off site by a dedicated company also and brought to the house each week. A note to add: - the hot tub is not included in our 1 night mid week rate. If you would like to have it added our rate is £150. Please advise at time of booking. The hot tub is drained and cleaned thoroughly with appropriate detergent between each guest visit. Kitchen surface spray and dishwasher tabs are provide. Along with a cleaning cloth and sponge. Tea towels are provided. There should be tea/coffee for an arrival cup. 6 guests can use the hot tub at any one time.
