Your escape from the city – out into nature

Get out of the city, into nature and just let your mind wander... Our small former washhouse of the manor is located within the complex in the garden area behind the manor house and can be reached via a large entrance gate. Immediately in front of the complex there is a small lake, which is ideal for anglers, among other things. Behind the small guest house (outside the fenced complex) extends the large old castle park, which invites you to stroll. The space On the first floor is the bathroom with shower, a separate toilet with daylight, the kitchen and the living/dining area. The sofa in the living area can also be quickly converted into a sofa bed. For all coffee lovers: We have a Nespresso machine, as well as a coffee maker (powdered coffee in, boiling water on it and press down the strainer) on site. The stairs to the two bedrooms with double beds are a bit steep due to the size of the house, so please be careful here. If you are planning a stay with children, there is the possibility to put a gate on the stairs. We also have a travel crib (for an extra charge) and high chair for children that we can provide. Please note that during the cold winter days we have to bill the electricity (electric heaters) according to consumption. But from experience, the fireplace takes over a large part of the heat generation in the house. Nevertheless, take warm slippers with you, as there is natural stone flooring in the hallway and kitchen area. We still have 2 double rooms in our museum, which are gladly booked in addition to the cottage. The museum is located on the other side of the village pond. You can also find the rooms again as individual listings. You can also simply ask me about it. Guest access The guest house also has a small separate garden, which of course should be used. We also have a trampoline for children in a ruin located on the estate, as well as a small above-ground pool in summer (if the construction work allows it). A small charcoal grill is also available. Bicycles and child trailers as well as SUPs (Stand Up Paddeling) can be rented on request for a fee. And if there is anything else missing - please feel free to ask at any time. A washing machine and dryer are located in our house and can be used for a small fee. From Easter 2024, we will finally have 2 ponies with us again. Other things to note On Mondays and Thursdays, a baker stops in front of the door at 8 AM, on Saturdays at 11 AM. A butcher's cart comes by on Tuesdays at 2 PM. Our café opens again after Easter on Sundays from 2 PM to 5 PM, depending on demand and advance information, we can also offer breakfast for you there. In our café we have also set up a co-working space, which is approx. 300 meters from the cottage and we open the rooms on request.
