The space Villa Pandolfini 1 is a 14 century historical villa and redisence of charm. The villa was built by the famous nobel Pandolfini family and noted as one of the best examples of a villa of it's time .Beautifully preserved and maintained. A few kms from Florence on a beautiful estate of 150 hectares, olive groves and vineyard. The large and spacious apartment is on the main floor opening onto the pretty formal italian garden and breathtaking loggia boasting magnificently affrescoed arched ceilings. The very spacious living room looks onto the garden and the loggia is accessed thru 2 sets of very large glass doors. The furnishings are respecting the style of the villa, antiques, crystal chandelier, polished terracotta floors and rugs. A suggestive gold leafed carved mirror hangs over the decorative marble ornamental fireplace. The main bedroom opens onto the front terrace with views of the town and surrounding. This bedroom has a xlarge king size bed, the windows are dressed with silk curtains, the large antique crystal chandelier illuminates the frescoed ceilings and there is a ornate marble fireplace. The second bedroom has wooden parquet floors, arched ceilings with frescoes and a small en suite with wc and hand basin. The bed is a queen sized and there is an extra single bed. The main bathroom is 1 full bathroom with a tub-shower, toilet and hand basin and can be accessed from the living room or the main bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 4 gas burner stove top, oven, microwave, fridge & freezer, all pots and pans the feature is a vaulted ceiling and ornate fireplace with a dining table seating 6. NOTE : The double bedroom in the villa has conditioning and the cost is 70 euro / week and heat 50 / day additional if interested. Both these charges are optional upon request. Guest access The loggia is for the guests and furnished with a lovely table , chairs and wrought iron lounges to sit and relax ,drinking their morning coffee or reading and admiring the peaceful and beautiful Italian garden of the villa. Also on the estate from May thru to October has a pool which is out of the main gardens amongst the olive trees . Wander the grounds and you may encounter a pheasant crossing your path or a rabbit.
