With 3 ensuite bedrooms, and set within a beautiful thatched walled garden, Enford House Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing break in the countryside and also within easy reach of tourist attractions including Stonehenge, Avebury, Longleat, Salisbury, Marlborough, Bath and Oxford. In the village of Enford, the cottage is the attached wing of an 18th Century manor house, comfortable beds, good quality bed linen, TV's in all rooms and games room. Local pub - The Swan - is a 2 min walk The space Equipped to a high standard and with good quality bedlinen and towels, the Cottage sleeps between 2 to 6 people (+cot) in 3 double bedrooms which all have tv's as well as ensuite bath or shower room. The rooms also boast fabulous views of the water meadow and thatched walled garden. The property is surrounded by the wall garden which is situated next to the village church, and beyond that fields. WIFI is available. The lovely local pub in the village - The Swan - is a 2 minute walk from the cottage and there are several other pubs within easy reach in neighbouring villages. You can unwind and relax in the cosy sitting room which has 2 large sofas, an armchair, coffee table, lamps, TV & toy cupboard with young children’s books, toys and games. A well-equipped kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob and grill, nespresso vertuo coffee machine, fridge freezer and dining table that seats 6 people. A tumble dryer is located upstairs. There are 3 ensuite bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms situated upstairs and a twin bedroom situated downstairs next to the sitting room. A lovely south-facing patio area comes with a table, 6 chairs and barbeque for al fresco dining in the summer months. Guests are welcome to enjoy the walled garden. A door within the thatched wall garden leads directly to the churchyard next door and is the first stop for many walks. There is parking for 3 cars. There is a games room on site with Table Tennis, Pool Table & Rowing machine. There is also a large in ground trampoline in the main garden younger guests are welcome to use. The owners live in the main house next door. As well as Stonehenge, Salisbury, Marlborough and Avebury (all within 10-20 mins drive) guests can travel within 1 hours drive to Bath, Oxford, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester, Longleat, Stourhead, Lacock and many other places.
