The property is located in the lovely and unique hamlet of Madliena, with beautiful villas dotting this little place. Madliena is a quiet, out-of-the way place from the noise and crowded scene of city life, but still close enough (2 kms down from where we are) to the entertainment centre of Paceville with its multitudinous night clubs and bars, to the scenic St. Julians Bay with its many lovely restaurants and promenade. The space Yellow is the largest of the 3 apartments which make up the Colours complex). located in Madliena, 2 kms from St. Julians. The sweet complex of just 3 apartments enjoying swimming pool, Jacuzzi grotto with cascading water, garden areas, barbeque, gazebos, fish and turtle ponds, and several garden and seating arrangements. Recently installed retractable cover over the pool and most of the deck area, with all-glass doors enclosure, has converted this into a beautiful oasis, a unique experience, with heated (28°C) pool and environ for our off-season guests, ensuring all year round enjoyment, no matter the weather. The garden area is composed of chill out harem area, barbeque, gazebos, fish pond, turtle pond, hammock swing, and several seating arrangements for dining and relaxation. The pool area and back garden measure approximately 225 m² whereas the side garden measure approximately 125 m². Guest access The bus stop is located just round the corner from the apartment, at 250m (bus No. 16) for buses going to St. Julians, Sliema and Valletta. Should you wish to go to the north of the island where most of the larger sandy beaches are located, you would best get the bus from St. Julians (you can buy a weekly bus ticket for just €21). A taxi for 4 people to St. Julians will cost you just €8. The closest supermarket (Greens is located down the road at 550m away), bank, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants, fishmonger, post office, bakeries, etc. are all located next to the Swieqi bus terminus, about 700m away, but we’ll show you around and introduce you to the place upon your arrival. Our favourite restaurants in Madliena are Ta’ Guza. Pepe Nero (600m), and Vago (700m away) and Madliena Cottage (1 km away). The supermarkets and most of the restaurants in St. Julians offer a free delivery service to our apartments. A further 2 kms away from us, this time to the left, is the family popular Mediterraneo Water Fun Park and Dolphin and Seal Park.
