Charming 1 bedroom cottage on a 450 strong alpaca farm in Northumberland. Relax in large Skargard Swedish wood fired hot tub. Stunning, peaceful location in the beautiful Tyne Valley. Surrounded by fields, trees, alpacas and fresh air. 0.6 miles to Hadrian’s Wall. Close House, Matfen Hall, airport, Newcastle, Corbridge and Hexham nearby. No pets or smoking. Five other cottages on this peaceful working farm so please enjoy and respect our neighbours. Breakfast included The space Semi detached stone cottage at least 120 years old full of character including a slightly sloping bedroom floor due to being built using old oak trees! One generous double bedroom with king size bed and southerly views that will amaze you. Lovely bathroom with toilet, basin and multi-jet shower on first floor. Two ground floor entrances. Modern and fully fitted kitchen with integral oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Open plan diner/lounge with extendable dining table and wood burning stove. Private garden and seating. Bedroom window has wonderful south facing views to the Tyne valley, some of our fields and alpacas! Covered parking in a huge 4.4m by 7m bay just a few paces away from the cottage. Secure bike storage facility available on request. We’ve signed up to the AirBnB enhanced cleaning protocol and are taking extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces between bookings. The cottage is stocked with crockery, cutlery, glasses, bedding, towels, tea, coffee, microwave, oven, fridge freezer and washing machine. Breakfast cereal and milk supplied. Eggs from our hens also provided, when they are laying! Wi-Fi, 40 inch smart TV, selection of old fashioned games and books. Enjoy the real fire and re-learn the art of conversation!
