Stay in a medieval castle in Tuscany. This light and spacious apartment is fully equipped with a large sitting room with fireplace, a kitchen and four bedrooms and bathrooms. The apartment is spread out across multiple levels with both an internal and external staircase. There is also a terrace garden and a pergola for al fresco meals. The castle's shared swimming pool is 200m way. The castle which dates back to 1042 is a fully working farm with a 4 hectare vineyard, with 1,000 year-old olive groves in an unspoilt valley on Monte Amiata. We make our own wines, olive oil and gin and grow most of our vegetables in the castle's orto. With splendid views over the valley, and cool night breezes the castle is in a wonderful microclimate of its own. The valley is a perfect place to go for sunset walks and look up at the full moon.
