At Geysir Hestar you have found your Icelandic home. We are a horse farm & accommodation located between Geysir hotsprings and Gullfoss waterfall. With a deep love for comfortable living, fantastic views over Geysir and horses in our backyard, we offer you an unforgettable stay with us - our guesthouse Krummi embodies the spirit of Icelandic nature. Welcome to Geysir Hestar! The space Our guesthouse Krummi offers private bedrooms for two or four. Our guests will be provided with cosy made-up beds, soft towels and a delightful view over erupting geyser Strokkur. Krummi consists of: • private lockable rooms (for 2 or 4 persons). Regardless of the room size, your room will always be fully private only for you or your group. • a shared living room and lounge area with comfy couch and panorama views over Geysir hotspring area and nearby mountains. • a shared kitchenette with complimentary tea and coffee, utensils and amenities for simple meals. • shared separate bathrooms and showers. If you visit us in autumn, winter or spring - all you need to do is look through the window in your room, and if the time is right, you can see the northern lights from your bed! Guest access The shared bathroom areas: Several separate toilets, washing area, and plenty of separate shower rooms of different sizes. Even if we are full, there is enough space for everyone. The shared kitchen area, dining and lounging area: You will find complimentary tea, coffee, instant coffee, sugar, oil, salt, pepper. Plenty of small appliances like kettles, coffee machines, toaster. There are also several hotplates, as well as fridge and a microwave. And of course all the dishes, pots and everything else that is needed for cooking! There are several dining tables,and seating corners, so everyone can be comfortable. We do kindly ask our guests to use the shared areas with other guests in mind and clean up after themselves - so everyone can enjoy the shared areas. Other things to note As we are also a fully functioning farm, you are always welcome to meet our horses or other animals - bunnies, sheep, chickens, a cat and a dog. No animals are allowed in the guesthouse, so those with allergies don't have to worry. We also offer riding tours for everyone - children, people with no previous experience or horse riders and lovers. Just message when booking and we will tell you all about it!
