Summerhouse Farm is located 10 miles south of Cambridge on the outskirts of Melbourn village and has been in the Wedd family since 1921. Our self-catering accommodation is a new venture that lends its self to the abundance of local attractions, such as the Duxford Imperial War Museum, the National Trust stately home Wimpole Hall and the historic University City of Cambridge. The space Our bungalow is a semi-detached newly renovated modern 1 bedroom property that boasts stunning views of the countryside. The layout comprises of a spacious king-size double bedroom, a spacious bathroom with large shower. There is an open plan lounge diner, a modern kitchen complete with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, cooking utensils, dinnerware and tea and coffee making facilities as well as a breakfast bar. There is also a washer dryer for longer stays. Outside the property has its own patio and seating area. Guest access No 2 The Bungalow has its own entrance and a dedicated off-road parking in the car park opposite. Check in from 3pm, Check Out 10am. Guests can use the self-check-in box allowing flexibility for arrival times. Other things to note Summerhouse Farm is and working arable farm and home to a number of commercial businesses including a large caravan storage storage site a dog exercise park and so depending on the time of year there can be an increase in traffic and seasonal arable machinery.
