Rosemount view is a 4 storey period Town house dating back to early 1800s. Newley refurbished in October 2018 with care taken to retain most period feature. Located just over the Buccleuch Street bridge beside the River Nith within walking distance of most tourist sights inc The old bridge museum,The Devorgilla bridge , Dumfries museum, Robert Burns centre,Burns house,mausoleum,Greyfriars church, Burns statue. Further a field we have Caerlaverock Castle, Sweatheaet Abbey & much more The space Rosemount View still has lots of quirky features including the layout of the house and the old maids accommodation on the top floor - now the games room. The house,court yard & shop next door were originally an old stable-forge- where people would bring their horses for shoeing back in the 1800s Guest access Guests have the use of the full house & back court yard. We will however access the court yard twice a day - without disturbing you- to test the chemical levels in the hot tub. We will also empty the hot tub on the morning of your departure
