Sanctuary in the Heart of Narrowsburg

We're located in the heart of the hamlet of Narrowsburg, so you can walk everywhere: restaurants, shops, galleries, cafes, library, theater, farmers market and to the Delaware River. Walk to Lander's River Trips to take a rafting trip. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch, have a BBQ in the backyard and relax around the fire pit in the evening. And if you need to pick up a last minute meal or bottle of wine, Main Street is just around the corner. The space The space was lovingly renovated in 2021 to enhance the house's open and airy feeling and natural wood floors. Two comfortable bedrooms and a fully renovated bathroom are just the beginning. There's a large inviting dining room with a farmhouse table & chairs, which can double as a work-at-home space. The living room feels like a greenhouse with natural daylight streaming through the oversized windows (soft white curtains provide privacy when needed) and air purifying potted plants sprinkled throughout the room. A giant wrap around porch provides a spot for people watching as well as a more private nook for reading and relaxing. Outdoors there's a large yard bordered by a natural treeline, and a historic railway line (passenger trains from New York City used to stop in Narrowsburg in the early 20th century). On the other side of us is the local firehouse, and across the road is the local library. Other things to note: Ceiling fans and table fans are a huge help in the heat of the summer months, as there is no air conditioning in the house. With the firehouse next door, you may occasionally hear fire alarm if there's an emergency call. Rarely cargo trains use the nearby railway.
