Detached country house in meadows and forests in an absolutely secluded location. Hiking/bike trails start right by the house. There is a great covered grill with fireplace. The beautiful garden can be used in many ways. A ping-pong table, a kicker and a dartboard are in the double garage and offer fun in any weather. The beautiful antique country house style immediately invites you to relax. The kitchen is well equipped. Outside of the holidays, we can often extend the check-in/out. The space The house is an old half-timbered house in a secluded location with 160 square meters on 2 floors. On the ground floor is a large living area with a large dining table and 2 smaller tables for playing or reading. The kitchen, a bedroom with a bunk bed (140 cm downstairs and 90 cm upstairs), a small bathroom and a separate toilet are also on the ground floor. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, a larger bathroom with toilet and another large living room with TV. In this room, you can also sleep on mattresses if needed. The house is furnished in an antique, romantic country house style. The kitchen is not very large, but leaves nothing to be desired - the stove and Gaggenau oven are 90 cm wide. A 2nd fridge with icebox is located in the basement. Dishes, cutlery and glasses are available in large quantities. From the living area, you can directly access a beautiful sun terrace. You can get to the old open barn through the yard. There is a brick BBQ with 2 fireplaces under stainless steel grates and a beautiful sandstone fireplace. Next to the barn, there is a double garage where beer benches can be set up if you are surprised by the rain. Otherwise, there is a ping pong table, a foosball table and a dart board. On the solid lawn in front of the garage, you can play badminton or boules wonderfully. Of course, the other meadows in the garden are also suitable for a large croquet course. Directly from the house you can quickly get to wonderful, quiet hiking and biking trails, away from the tourist hustle and bustle. Beautiful swimming lakes and great historic towns can be found in the surrounding area. The house is ideal for a nice weekend for families or groups as well as a varied holiday home. Guest access You'll have the whole house and property to yourselves. Other things to note In quiet and varied surroundings are various swimming lakes as well as the romantic small towns of Marburg and Alsfeld. In the house, only one Wi-Fi with fiber optic internet connection "radiates." The cell phone reception is not the best, but the radiation is low. Families with small children should note that there are 2 small, shallow ponds on the property in front of the house that are not fenced. In addition, the sockets in the house are not secured and the old staircase is rather steep. The house is secured by an alarm and camera. Of course, the system is only active when the house is unoccupied.
