The space Just a stone's throw from private waterfalls - this quaint, bespoke self-catering cottage is a nature-lover's dream getaway. The deck seems to float above the forest and a private path leads to one of the 3 waterfalls on the property. Fine art paintings and sculptures add flair and the victorian bath adds charm as you soak away your troubles gazing through the diamond window, out through the trees. Well-insulated with a cozy fireplace and down duvets for chilly nights. Well-equipped kitchen & portable braai. We also offer private gourmet picnics at the waterfall, and romantic meals at the gazebo above the waterfall - a unique and magical experience...like having your own private chef. Please ensure that you book these well in advance. Guest access The cottage is totally yours and nobody will interfere with your stay - only two cottages on this large property and you have your own pathway from your cottage to the waterfall. You have the freedom to explore the entire property with all it's pathways and secret waterfalls. Other things to note Hogsback can get extremely cold (even in Summer) so please ensure that you bring warm clothes and good walking shoes (perhaps an extra pair in case they get wet). We supply one crate of fire wood per booking, but more is available at a reasonable cost. Toilets are on a septic tank system so no foreign matter may be flushed. Our kitchens are well-equipped and we supply coffee, plungers, tea and sugar. Please make sure that you bring everything else that you need since this is a self-catering cabin. Servicing is an optional extra.
