Private driveway for 2 vehicles and plenty of parking available on-street to the front of the property, no issues with parking availability. Stunning views to the front of the property and private garden to the rear. Community outdoor gym, play park and 5-aside football/basketball court opposite the cottage available for guests to use. Points to note, the period stone floors in the kitchen/dining room can be cold and we would advise bringing slippers, there is also a public footpath which runs between the cottage and garden. 20 min to Durham, 45 mins to Newcastle. Bus services available 50yds from property. Nearest main train station Durham 20 mins. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher. Bedroom 1 En-suite bath and separate shower(1 kingsize bed), Bedroom 2 (1 kingsize bed), bedroom 3 (2 singles or can be zipped together to form kingsize bed), bedroom 4 (2 singles or can be zipped together to form kingsize bed) PLEASE NOTE - this bedroom has very low ceilings at one side, you can stand up when entering the room but the ceiling slopes away. We also run the Cosy Village pub and restaurant 100yds away ‘The Moss Inn’ specialising in steaks and grills, best locally sourced steaks you will get anywhere, great welcoming atmosphere and excellent selection of drinks. Open Thursday-Sunday (Food served Thurs/Friday evening and lunchtime Sunday). Everybody who comes to our charming little village is always made to feel incredibly welcome and often comment on what a hidden little gem the place is. Doorstep access to great countryside walks and plenty of area to take dogs. Anything we can do during your stay to make you more comfortable we will be pleased to help with, always somebody available to ask for help and advice at the local pub which we run.
