The Romantic Vrångö island escape is a high standard cabin with a spacious floor plan, on a separate part of our property. Your private balcony and hot tub are one step outside the wide glass doors. Enjoy a good breakfast or a relaxing bath surrounded by beautiful nature. The cottage is literally where Vrångö's nature reserve begins. The cottage is designed for a relaxing stay close to nature and the idyllic archipelago environment, regardless of the season. The space Please see information below about BICYCLES to add to your stay *** Our romantic cottage is located on Vrångö, the most southern inhabited island in Gothenburg’s southern archipelago. The cottage has high comfort with underfloor heating, well-equipped modern kitchen with fridge, freezer compartment, hot-air oven, microwave, induction stove, cooking utensils and basic supplies such as salt, pepper, oil, coffee, tea, coffee milk and chocolate powder. Sleep comfortably in a King Size bed (180 cm wide, 200 cm long), centrally located in the spacious and airy cottage, with good reading lights and a dimmable LED light behind the headboard. Enjoy a movie, from the bed or sitting at the table, on the 32-inch swivel TV. A Chromecast device is available for you to stream your choice of media from your own device to the TV. A strong WiFi of 300 Mbit is available in the cottage. Windows in every direction offer generous light and views. The windows can be covered effectively by the blackout curtains or just screened off with the transparent light curtains. Wake up to a new day, take the bathrobe and step into the slippers that are available for you in the cottage. Let the sunlight in through the wide glass doors and take a step out onto your private terrace that houses your private HOT TUB with jet jets, a gas grill (with grill tongs and grill shovel), designer sun loungers, parasols and a small table with chairs. (Barbecue grill and outdoor furniture are available from mid-April until the end of September.) The SPA BATH is heated by default to about 37-38 degrees Celsius and a simple step-by-step guide for the SPA BATH is available in the cottage. *** BICYCLES (see picture) are available to rent on request, as a service for our guests who wish to explore Vrångö and also the other islands from the bicycle saddle. Bike rental: SEK 200/bike (Use freely throughout the stay) The bicycles are 3-speed model ladies' bicycles and equipped with locks, bicycle baskets, package holders, ring bells and helmets. Note, the bikes may not be taken to the mainland. *** Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage and the adjoining plot, which is naturally delimited by a stone wall. The balcony next to the cottage with the heated spa bath is, of course, for the guests and directly outside the plot boundary there is a small meadow area that you can also use. Other things to note We follow Airbnb's cleaning protocol for a fresh and tidy stay. This means that we: Ventilate the space thoroughly and sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the smallest doorknob Use detergents and disinfectants Use protective equipment such as disposable gloves to prevent cross-contamination. Clean each room using cleaning checklists Provide extra cleaning equipment, so you can clean during your stay We will be happy to greet you and primarily welcome you in person upon arrival. But we also offer our guests the option to check themselves in by using a door code. We will send you the door code just before your arrival. Please note: To get to the cottage, you enter our garden and pass around our house. Vrångö has a grocery store that is open daily all year round, but you should be aware of the opening hours, which are limited. Normal opening hours are Mon-Fri 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Saturday 9:30 am - 2:00 pm. Sun 9:30 am - 11:00 am.
