What could be nicer than ending the evening in front of a crackling fireplace after a nice day of vacation. The cottage is located in the holiday park "Silbersee," in the middle of Germany, just 40 minutes south of Kassel by car. Via the A 7, exit Homberg (Efze), you continue via the B 323 and the B 254 to the exit Frielendorf Nord and reach the holiday village after 1 km, which is located on the approx. 10,000 m² swimming lake "Silbersee". The holiday village is surrounded by extensive forests that ideally invite you to hike and mountain bike. In the park there are a number of leisure activities such as a modern climbing park, large indoor play paradise, wellness paradise (indoor pool), miniature railway, all-weather toboggan run, petting zoo, archery, mini-golf, skating and boccia track, soccer, tennis and basketball fields, adventure playgrounds and much more. The cottage is located on a 700 m², quiet corner property and is therefore protected from prying eyes, so that privacy is preserved. The property extends into the adjacent forest, which is ideally also usable as an "adventure forest" for children. In the forest there is a corner group belonging to the house, where a stay, especially due to the shade-giving trees, is very pleasant in the heat. It is also very idyllic to eat the daily meals there. The vacation home also includes 8 garden chairs with 2 associated tables and a wooden seating table group for 6 people. There are also 4 sun loungers that invite you to relax and sunbathe on the very large property. Due to the location and the directly adjacent forest, you can maintain your "intimate sphere". A brick outdoor grill is also available. Furthermore, a separate parking space was created directly at the house and the terrace was generously redesigned so that an additional ground-level entrance to the house was created. The cottage has a total size of 75 m² and is built on 3 levels. Via a hallway you enter the open-plan living and dining area. In the living room, in addition to a comfortable seating area with a table, there is a large flat-screen TV, Blu-ray and a spacious, solid brick fireplace, which can be lit at any time if needed and spreads a pleasant atmosphere with its crackling fire. Firewood is sufficiently available and can be used free of charge in household quantities. In the case of greater consumption, a lump sum is charged according to the quantity. If necessary, the couch can be converted into a sofa bed in a few simple steps, so that a maximum of 8 people can be accommodated in the house. For more than 6 guests, we charge €5.00 per person per night. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area with the cozy, spacious sitting area. A small staircase leads to the gallery, where the fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, hand mixer, dishes, etc., with adjoining seating area for up to 4 people, is located. Next to it is the shower room with shower, sink and toilet. On the same floor is also the first bedroom with a double bed and its own flat-screen TV. From here you can also reach a separate toilet room with sink and toilet. The rustic wooden staircase leads to the top floor, where there are two bedrooms with 2 beds each and their own sink. Access to the balcony is possible from both rooms. From the vacation home to the beach of the Silbersee it is only about 400 meters. There are also boating and fishing opportunities. Fishing rods can be provided if needed. Furthermore, children's play equipment such as children's bicycle, chain car, pedal tractor, tricycle, bobby car, badminton game, balls, etc. are available in the house and can be used free of charge at your own risk. Family friendliness is still very important here. The house was completely insulated and newly plastered in spring 2013, so that the exterior facade shines in new splendor. As a special feature, you can now use a free high-speed Internet connection in the house. At an additional cost, €1.90 tourist tax per day must be charged for each adult and €0.95 for children/adolescents from 6-17 years of age, which we as hosts must forward to the municipality of Frielendorf. Children up to and including 5 years are free. If you would like bed linen and/or towels, both will be provided. We charge €8.00 per person for this. Of course, you are also welcome to bring your own linens and/or towels. The costs for visitor's tax and, if necessary, bed linen and/or towels must be paid in cash on the day of arrival. A highchair is available in the house and a travel cot can also be provided free of charge if required. Electricity and water costs are not included in the rental price and will be charged separately according to consumption. Since the house is suitable for allergy sufferers, we ask for your understanding that we only rent the house without pets. Guest access The vacation home is divided into 3 floors and a basement. All rooms offered by the vacation home can be used by the guests.
