Cosy Romantic Dales Cottage

Patna Cottage is a very cosy 2 bedroom traditional dales cottage, sleeping up to 3 people, in the heart of the idyllic village of Keld. It backs on to a wild flower hay meadow. There is parking for a car directly outside. Keld is at the top of Swaledale in the Yorkshire Dales and is at the crossover point of the Coast to Coast and Pennine Way footpaths. There's a cafe and small shop in summer at a village farm and a bar at Keld Lodge. There are dark skies for stargazers and waterfalls aplenty. The space This is a beautifully updated, but still traditional, Dales cottage so expect uneven walls, flagstones, beams and quirky stairs. Keld is a wonderful, quiet village, the latest 'new build' is the Village Hall and Reading room which was built 100 years ago. Keld Resource centre has interesting displays about the locality and is worth a visit. On sunny afternoons have a sit in the Community orchard directly opposite Patna and listen to the birds and watch the grass grow.
