Tranquil cottage in Banská Štiavnica mountain

Our cosy and tranquil house located right above the very small village Uhliska, in the national park area of Banska Stiavnica. Because interier of the house is made of wood, you will feel like living outdoors, while inside is a lingering aroma of wood and crackling of the woodstove. The quiet, the birds singing, the cool of the forest that shelters also by the wind, no traffic, no neighbours close to the house. It is just perfect place for relaxation,yoga,meditation,and life in the wild nature. The space You enter the house directly to one big daily room with large fully equiped kitchen, large dining room for 6 people, rest place with sitting and sleeping place, there is also TV and DVD recorder, and canadian fire place. There are two types of heating: central electrical one and also fire place in living room can be used as central heating. From this daily area you can either enter into 2 bedrooms and toilet, which are located also at the ground floor as whole daily area, or with stairs you can reach „atelier loft“. Also there is entrace to huge terase 3x8m where outdoor sitting is placed. Both cosy bedrooms has a comfortable king size bed 140x200cm or 160x200cm, wardrobe and window with nature view. The bathroom, including toilet is just next to it. The atelier loft upstairs is opened form each side and full of daily light. There is also bed for one person and creative table for hand made goods. In total there are 6 regular beds (2 king size bed, 2single beds). The whole house is open, ethereal and full of daily light. Guest access The area is great for both walking and bicycling. You can choose from many short and long walking routes, even the Compostela route is crossing the village. With car distance 18km you can reaches two ski resorts Salamander, or Drozdovo. Also many during the summer many lakes are available for swimming in the surounding. It is the perfect base to explore the area of Banska Stiavnica for leisure, adventure or simply to relax and enjoy pure beauty of the nature. Only just few meters above the house is the hunting hide with hunting paradise where you can observe animals living in the wild nature. In the village there is no restaurant, or any other food possibility. You can enjoy a large roof terrace with great view and nice sunset. Free WiFi – to read or even finish some work. Kinder playground in the garden. Your vehicle can be parked in our own driveway.
