Guests have their own key so you can come and go as you please with no disturbance to anyone. The space This country village studio apartment is a lovely spacious, clean, quiet, peaceful place to stay. Set in the lovely historic village of Burton Joyce,Which is located in the tranquil and beautiful Trent Valley. The Studio Apartment is all fully contained giving guests there own personal access,meaning they are free to come and go as they please. There are Flexible bed options providing sleeping for up to 5 guests: - a double bed available - a single bed - a leather pull out sofa bed - on request, we offer a travel cot bed for our little guests. There is kitchen area with kettle, toaster, plates/bowls, cutlery, sink, combination microwave and fridge. There is also a breakfast bar to provide a seated dining area for 4 people. Outside the apartment there is a fenced courtyard, with an outdoor seating area. There is also a garden area. We also provide all bed linen and towels for our guests convenience. We like to provide some little thoughtful touches to give the guest a wonderful experience, including a free complimentary welcome basket with a choice of breakfast cereals, bread products, milk, biscuits, tea/coffee. We also have complimentary toiletries in the bathroom. Provided for your convenience are USB charging points and high speed WIFI. We are also lucky to have lots of local country walks/cycle trails available from the apartment with The River Trent and the beautiful Trent valley only a 5 minute walk away, we also provide walking and cycling guides in the apartment. The Village has great transport links, with a regular good bus/train service into Notingham. (The village has it own local train station), There is also a local park and ride service available 4 miles from the village,to take you directly into the city. With the city being so close we are also really well located for top sporting venues like the City ground,Trent Bridge,and the national watersports centre at Holme Pierrepoint. The M1 and A1 are also within 30 Minutes, giving easy transport links. Free off road parking for multiple cars is available. Guest access The studio apartment, is a quiet, flexible space sleeping up to five people. This means it's suitable for family stays as well as couples wanting a quiet break. It is also suitable for business people working in Nottingham with fast WiFi. A 10 minute walk into the village of Burton Joyce provides guests great food options, from Fish and Chips, A chinese takeaway, coffee shops or country gourmet pub meals. If guests prefer we have a kitchenette providing the convenience of being able to prepare your own meals. We provide guests with their own key to the Apartment so you can come and go as required. There is also plenty of off road private parking available. We are flexible hosts and we will always do our best to help. There is a lovely patio area just for guests, or feel free to use the garden. It is always a pleasure to meet our guests and we really try to provide a hassle free and comfortable stay as possible. Other things to note We want our guests to come and enjoy our country village as much as we do. Great for families, or business people requiring easy access to Nottingham or those just wanting to relax. Vibrant Nottingham city centre is close by with large shopping centres, Nottingham castle, cave tours directly under the city. as well as the usual entertainment (bowling alley, ice rink, theatres, concert arenas). There is also a national watersports centre at Holme Pierrepoint. Also premier League football is available at the City ground,and International cricket is hosted at Trent bridge. The city is easily accessible by bus, train or car, with a frequent bus service taking 25 minutes from the village directly to the city centre. There is also a local park and ride option from Nottingham racecourse. The train direct into the city from the village train station takes just 10 minutes. Other historical towns nearby include Southwell, (Cathedral, Home of the Pilgrim Father's), Newark,(Set on the River Trent with a lovely market and castle remains), Grantham (Market Town) and Lincoln (Steep in history with the famous Minster,cobbled streets and museums). Food lovers can enjoy local Stilton cheese from Colston Bassett creamery, and the famous Dickinson Melton Mowbray pork pie are all within a 30 minutes drive away. The famous Major Oak where Robin Hood by legend is meant to have stayed is at Sherwood Forest, Edwinstowe. Sherwood Pines has outdoor activities such as Go Ape, mountain bike trails and for the young people, the Gruffalo trail. These are both a 30 minute drive away. The beautiful Peak District is within a 90 minutes drive away. All making this a really flexible space and location for your needs.
