Maison Gilb (little house b/w Baltic & Hamburg)

We (a family of five) live in a historic villa from 1908 in Bad Oldesloe. The accommodation provided is the annex located behind the villa. It was just newly renovated and partially refurbished in April 2025. We are happy to rent to solo travelers, couples or families. Unfortunately, we no longer accept bookings from women's or men's groups due to very bad experiences. The space The place is a complete small annex. It is equipped on the first floor with an open fully equipped kitchen with a counter including four seats. The kitchen is open to the living area with a sofa and armchair and a 65-inch TV included. NETFLIX and Amazon Prime Video and other streaming services as well as live TV. On the upper floor, there is an open sleeping area with a box-spring bed (160 × 200), a small sofa and another bed (160 × 200), which is converted as a sofa for 2 occupancy. Also on the upper floor is the bathroom with an open shower, sink, toilet and towel heater. The rooms are beautifully bright and filled with light. Since the house is in the second row, it is nice and quiet. In front of the annex is a terrace with seating lounge and barbecue exclusively for the guests. The area is protected with an awning against direct sun and also somewhat against rain. Beds and plants in pots make it nice and cozy. Please note: The bedroom is not separated from the living room. Although there is a staircase between these rooms, there is no door! This also means that the sleeping area has no door to the stairs. This may be important for travelers with smaller children. Guest access The entire annex with kitchen including open living room, bedroom and bathroom is exclusively available to guests. As this is the entire annex, guests have their own entrance door. In front of the guest house is a paved terrace with a lounge seating area and a grill. This area is also exclusively available to guests. About the grill: The final cleaning of the house does NOT include the grill. This is to be cleaned by the guests themselves. If this is not done, an additional cleaning fee for the grill will be charged afterwards. Other things to note The location is perfect for those who want to have a city holiday AND a beach holiday at the same time. With Lübeck (reached in 20 minutes) and Hamburg (reached in 30 minutes), there are two very interesting cities available that have a lot to offer. And with the Timmendorfer beach, Scharbeutz, Travemünde, and many other beautiful beaches of the Lübeck bay, many dream beaches can be reached in about 30 minutes; of course, you can also shop here on the promenades... But Bad Oldesloe itself is also a worthwhile destination with its spa park and a historic and very romantic downtown area. The Hansapark, the Baltic Sea thermal baths, Sealife, the Hamburg Musicals, the Elbphilharmony, the Lübeck Holstentor, ... there are countless interesting excursion destinations!
