Please note: In case of good snow conditions, the house is accessible on skis. Winter information: The SKISTADL house is located directly on the snowy track that leads to Kaltenbach, about 500 meters above the intermediate station of the Hochzillertal cable car (see map of the slopes). On the ground floor of the house, the owners manage a cozy mountain restaurant with a sunny terrace (open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, guests receive a 10% discount on the menus of the day, closed in summer!). The house can be reached in two ways: 1) By car from Kaltenbach (4 km) along a mountain road to the owners' house near the intermediate station. Snow chains may be required From there, an uphill trail and a transportation track lead to the house (about 900m). 2) Take the Hochzillertal cable car to the upstream station (opening time from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm). From there, a 3 km long, prepared and snowy ski slope (suitable for experienced skiers) leads to the house. On the day of arrival, the cable car can be used free of charge from 3:00 pm, upon purchase of the ski pass for the next day. Extra: The owner will transport luggage from his home to the apartments with a snow cat. Please arrive between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm (for the transport of luggage) and by 8:00 am on the day of departure (Sunday). Parking is available at the owner's house or at the valley station.
