Portside, Stunning Cottage in Heart of Portpatrick

The Portside Cottage is a completely and beautifully renovated property in the heart of the delightful and hugely popular conservation village of Portpatrick. It is just yards from the beach and harbour front, immediately next door to "The Port Pantry" cafe and across the street from the village's seafront pubs. Guests are provided with towels and linen, super fast broadband, smart TV with Netflix Premium access, coffee machine for Nespresso style pods and milk frother. The space The cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 5 guests. It has an open plan living room with multi-fuel stove and a kitchen with dining area. To the rear there is a sunroom/reading room, flooded with light, with double doors opening on to a secluded stone patio with seating and dining area. It is a characterful property with leather and velvet sofas, original stone wall and fireplace, exposed oak beams, solid oak flooring in the main living area, painted wall panelling, and Moroccan style hand fired tiles in the bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with a powerful rain shower and cast iron free-standing bath. The two double bedrooms are furnished with very high quality king size beds, mattresses, linen and cushions. The cottage has oil fired hot water and central heating throughout. UPDATE!: As of mid August 2021 we now have a separate ice making machine which can sit on the worktop or stowed away in a cupboard. We didn't chose a worktop freezer at the time of renovation as we didn't want clutter, but this ice maker is ideal as it is small and can be kept hidden away if not in use. Other things to note We will provide some initial logs and sometimes smokeless fuel for the stove to get guests started, but after that guests will need to provide their own. We will try to ensure there is sufficient paper and kindling for lighting the stove. If you are bringing a dog please bring poo bags for when it toilets out in the back patio area!
