Stylish apartment for 2–6 people in the national park

Welcome to Gästehaus Wistlberg – your stylish retreat in the heart of the Bavarian Forest National Park. Our two modern holiday apartments offer the perfect combination of nature, comfort and relaxation. In summer, you can start great hikes right from your doorstep through the Bavarian Forest and into the neighbouring national park in the Czech Republic. In winter, the first cross-country ski trail runs just a few metres below the house – your car can also take a break during your holiday! The space Our lovingly renovated apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the "Gästehaus Wistlberg" holiday home in a snow-guaranteed location at 1,030 m and offers a living space of 120 m². There are 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed (180 x 200 cm; 2 of which are box spring beds). All living rooms and bedrooms have a south-facing balcony where you can enjoy the sun and sunset until evening. The kitchen is fully equipped, incl. ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and tabs. A filter coffee machine is also available and a basic set of salt, pepper & sugar is available. In the basement of the house there is a vending machine for cold drinks (with coin slot), and there is also the possibility to park skis and rent sledges. Wi-Fi and a basket of wood for the fireplace are free. Other firewood for a fee. Bread service is available on request (for a fee). Guest access You will find your key in a key safe next to the front door. We will provide you with further information on this after you have made your booking. For our guests, we provide a large garden/playground, as well as a barbecue and a sunny terrace. Please bring charcoal. A hammock, swing and a high-quality trampoline offer fun for young and old in the summer. Of course, there is also plenty of parking space right by the house! There is a large new playground within walking distance at Café Wistlberg, where you can also enjoy a delicious breakfast. Other things to note One dog per apartment is very welcome. If you wish to bring a dog, please indicate it as a pet when booking. Please note that only ONE dog (and no other pets) may be accommodated per apartment. To avoid additional cleaning fees, we kindly ask you to bring a separate sleeping area for your pet and not to let it on the sofa or in the beds. Please bring dog waste bags and do not “walk the dog” on the property, as we have many child guests who do not want to step in any mess. Thank you for understanding. Trash cans can be found at the house - please dispose of your residual waste in the black cans, the organic waste in the brown cans and the paper waste in the blue cans. You are welcome to leave bottles and cans in the front building upon departure. The Mauth municipal visitor's tax is €2.50 per adult per night and €1.25 per night for children between 6 and 15 years of age. This is not included in the trip price and must be paid in cash on site. Use of the Wallbox is possible on request for a fee.
