We have increased cleaning schedules and antibacterial products are being used at every opportunity to ensure a deep clean between rentals. It has two fabulous reception rooms including an elegant living room classically laid out with French doors leading onto the sun terrace and a cosy snug with a wood burner and sumptuous seating. There are two smart TV's, and a wealth of board games. There are two Blue Tooth speakers in the house Both rooms provide ample country cosiness and tactile fabrics. A superb state of the art kitchen leads into the dining area where guests can congregate around the long pendant light lit table. The kitchen leads to a larder cupboard and laundry room. One downstairs bedroom with a King Size Bed. Ideal for older guests or wheel chair users. This bedroom is next to the downstairs shower room so almost ensuite! The shower is big enough to get a chair in if needed. The staircase leads to four bedrooms each individually designed and gorgeous. The bedlinen is beautiful and the towels sumptuous . The Master bedroom boasts an exceptional ensuite and the family bathroom with its large bath is very relaxing. There is plenty of wardrobe space in every bedroom. It is a rich and diverse region with a variety of interesting, historic and engaging places to visit. Hundon is 2 miles from the small town of Clare, an old cloth town on the North bank of the River Stour. A town of historical interest with its Priory and medieval castle. It has a number of independent shops, many in Grade II listed buildings. The town centre also has numerous places for refreshment and takeaways. The house is 20 mins away from National Trust gem Ickworth House with wonderful nature trails. Long Melford and Lavenham a little further a field with preserved Tudor Manor Houses. Worth a visit are Kentwell Hall and Melford Hall and don't forget the antique shops! Bury St Edmunds is a historic market town with many notable features, the Gothic Revival Cathedral, the Abbey Gardens, St Marys Church, cinemas, music venues and a theatre and only a 25 minute drive from Hundon. The university City of Cambridge is a 35 minute drive and offers a great day out with its wealth of museums, art galleries and medieval colleges. Why not have a go at punting along the Cam?
