We provide high-quality furniture and furnishings, comfortable bedding and linens, and lovely soft towels. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for a stay of any length. The sitting room is large and airy, with plenty of room for a party of eight, plus there is separate dining. The bedrooms have Hypnos and hotel-standard mattresses that make for a very good night's sleep. There are two king bedrooms and a cosy double upstairs, and downstairs is the Garden Room. This en-suite bedroom can be set up as either a super king bed or a twin, whichever you prefer. The large and much-admired cottage garden offers two al fresco dining areas as well as different planting creating 'rooms'. We are child and dog friendly, and the hot tub is the 'icing on the cake' as many guests describe it in their feedback. Other things to note The house was named in the 1950s when the then owner ran a cafe called 'The Pilgrim' in reference to the location at the bottom of Church Steps and on Vicarage Road. Historically the cottage has also been a pub and a cafe with an antiques shop.
