The Salty Shepherd- sweeping views and marsh skies

The Salty Shepherd, with shower, small kitchen area and extremely comfy bed, offers complete privacy and a stunning beach one mile away. The Romney Marsh is a very special place; the skies are enormous and the views are too. From the foot of your bed you can watch it all. The space A secluded fully equipped shepherds hut allowing complete privacy on a working farm but still close enough to the beach and beautiful nearby towns to offer a fabulous place for a break away. It is small (16ft 8ft) but has everything you need for a truly memorable and unusual experience. Our guests tell us it's definitely worth it! It can only fit two people in one double bed but the view from the end of the bed is wonderful. The farm's resident barn owl is often seen hunting along the ditch just meters away and the pair of English partridges are also worth looking out for. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm to take in the unusual beauty of the Romney Marsh where the sunsets aren't often beaten. Guest access BBQ/fire pit, parking. No swimming in the lake behind the hut please! Due to the remote nature of the hut we do recommend that guests come by car or hire bikes. Two night minimum booking Other things to note We are off grid so electricity is supplied by leisure battery and gas is from gas bottles. The shower is very hot with good pressure. The loo is an eco loo which is waterless but very clever and discrete. There are no plugs for charging phones etc so we suggest bringing a car charger for this purpose. There isn't a fridge but we will happily provide a cool box if requested.
