Feel the ocean breeze, bask in the sun, taste African food, relax and fall asleep to the sound of Indian Ocean waves. Mama Root House is located in the heart of the small fisherman’s village and offers beautifull views and Insta- worthy snaps. The space What is unique about Mama Root? That would be The View. Our Villa is located on the little hill from which you can look at the whole shore without moving from your beach bed. The most interesting time to visit and enjoy the busy life of the village would be the period from November until the end of February. This is the time when Fisherman from Pemba are coming for the fishing season. We call them "Pirates". More than 40 beautiful Jahazi boats are parked in front of the house, each morning bringing fish for the auction, and leaving each afternoon for the night at the sea. Swimming between those giants or enjoying the empty shore in the afternoon would be the standards of Kizimkazi. The Villa was build in 1992, so it is a house with its own history. There is plenty of space to chill and relax. Big open dinning area and the kitchen are located in a separate building right next to the house. Guest access The guests will have access to the whole house, beach front, garden, parking, and dinning area.
