Cosy Edinburgh cottage, near Portobello beach

This two-bedroom detached cottage is a cosy retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city but is a short walk to Portobello promenade and beach. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people in a double and twin bedroom with shower bathroom. The ground floor is open-plan living & dining opening onto a patio and sunny enclosed garden. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and also opens onto the garden. There's a downstairs toilet next to the entrance vestibule and off-road parking infront of the cottage. The space The cottage is located up a gravel drive way within a private Victorian walled garden. It is a very cosy and warm cottage with private entrance for guests to come and go with the owners available if required. NEW FOR APRIL 2021: We have totally refurbished the kitchen and bathroom (now with a walk-in powerful shower rather than small bath). We've painted the front and put new furniture, fencing and taken down the large conifer trees in the back garden, so it's ALOT sunnier (we've also graveled over this area with Scottish pebbles).... There's also a new firepit for cosy outdoor lounging or BBQing- see pics now on listing. Licence Number EL-71818-P EPC C Guest access Guests can park one car on the drive way right outside the cottage or alternatively on the street opposite the property. A key is available from the key box so guests can arrive at any time. Other things to note Bed linen and towels are included as well as WiFi and all utilities. One well behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement only at time of booking. Owners must provide dogs bedding and towels and they are not permitted on furniture or beds and must not be left unattended in the property for any amount of time. There is an enclosed courtyard (gravelled) garden area to the rear of the property. An additional dog fee applies of £25 per stay which is paid directly to the property owner.
