Cosy holiday cottage in Klitmøller, Cold Hawaii 🌊

The most wonderful little holiday home for you and your family or maybe a couple of good friends. It’s simple, Nordic and very charming - especially, if you light up the stove. It’s close to the ocean, the town restaurants like Klitmøller Røgeri, Håndpluk, Le Garage, and Kesses Hus, and the surf hub. It’s located in a holiday area, so you’ll most likely have a few neighbors around - but don’t worry, the ground is big, so you’ll have plenty of space to kick back and enjoy the peace and quiet. The space This simple, quiet and cosy little gem holds 3 bed rooms: one with a king size bed (double bed) and two rooms with bunk beds. There’s a small, simple bathroom. At the heart of the house, there’s an open space with the kitchen, dinner table, stove, and living room. In the kitchen you’ll find all basic appliances incl. dishwasher, pots and pans, knives, cutlery, cups and glasses aplenty, a micro wave, toaster, oven and stove, etc. In the kitchen cupboard, there’s also cleaning appliances etc. In the hallway, you’ll also find a washing machine and dryer. Around the dinner table there’s room for six. In the back of the room, there’s the fireplace, a couch as well as three comfy chairs. With the fireplace and a couple of lit candles, this will quickly become your favorite spot during winter :) Also, there’s a heater in the living room (the big white machine at the ceiling by the dinner table). It’s controlled using the remote control on the wall just beneath it. Normally, I get a nice temperature at 21 degrees along with a good fire in the fireplace. If you want to regulate it, simply press — or +. If you make sure to keep the bed room doors open, the heat can ‘travel’ to those rooms as well, although you’ll lose about 1 degree for every room it has to go through :) That means that at 21 degrees, your bed rooms will be app. 19 degrees. When you leave, I’d really appreciate it, if you make sure to turn the heater in the living room to 16 degrees (using the remote). Thank you loads! :) What’s NOT there: Unfortunately, I can’t offer to wash bed linens and towels, etc. So, make sure to bring your own. Also, there’s a garage, but I use it for storage and it’s really a big mess.. So, I can’t offer you to park your car in there. But don’t worry — there’s loads of space just outside. Finally, there's no charger for electric cars — and please do not use an outlet in the house. This causes great fire risk, as the electric system of the house is old and not fit for high power charging. Instead, there's a charger for the purpose down by the surf shop in the parking lot. This should help you recharge. Are you bringing your dog? We absolutely LOVE dogs! So much that we plan to become dog parents ourselves one day. But...unfortunately, we had real issues removing dog hair quite a few times now, which makes an unpleasant surprise for the next guests. We don't want to exclude dogs at the house. So, instead, we need your help: Please bring your dog's bed/basket for it to sleep in - and be mindful that it doesn't roll around in the furniture. Thank you. Other things to note Remember to turn on the water heater, when you arrive. It takes about 2 hours for the water to heat up properly :) You turn it on in the closet in the first bed room on your right. In the closet, find the ‘button handle’ at the bottom, and switch it on (showing three red arrows).
