Nestled in a green setting, our cottage welcomes you in a region full of charm, 13 km from Chimay. Former border trade, family home since 1964, we wanted to preserve the history of the place by keeping the bar and the possibility of gathering around it, to have a pleasant time. The space The centerpiece of the house is the former café that was open until 2008. Come and relax around the bar, play a game of pool or kicker (foosball), and why not play bartender. Darts are also available to guests. A cozy lounge with a 165 cm Smart TV will allow you to bask. A small upstairs lounge is dedicated to children with DVDs and books. From the spacious terrace, you can admire the surrounding nature, the river below and some cows that will come to greet you from afar... Fishing ponds are about 100 meters away, hiking trails are numerous and of course the tasting of the very famous Chimay beer and its by-products. Guest access The house is exclusively reserved for you. The old café with bar, pool table, foosball, darts, card game area, wine tasting area. Possibility to connect a keg of beer (on request to the owners) Living room with 165 cm SmartTV (USB key) and small living room for children (TV and DVD). Equipped kitchen (with dining area) and separate dining room. 4 large bedrooms with 180 cm beds (possibility to convert 2 180 cm beds into 4 90 cm beds on request). 2 modern and tastefully decorated bathrooms (1 with toilet) + 1 separate toilet. 1 laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Large terrace with barbecue. Other things to note Check-ins are between 5pm and 10pm in agreement with the owner. Checkouts are before 11 a.m. except on Sundays when there are no arrivals, so it is possible to stay later. Towels are not provided.
