The "Munster" bedroom is large, bright, airy, spacious with a dreamy mattress to luxuriate on, and guarantees a soothing sleep. The room is decorated with quality original New Zealand and Irish art. Furniture is solid rosewood. Morning sun and garden views. It has its own private bathroom up a flight of stairs. There is tv in room. . Genuine silk rugs bought in Damascus by your host in 2002. Quiet, restful and relaxing. The space This bespoke home is large, bright airy with high end luxury fittings, beds, and great art collection. All the rooms are spacious.. Just over one mile from Monaghan town. Rooms available are four bedrooms, two bathrooms and two ensuite. Kitchen, sun lounge, and TV reading room. Laundry facilities on request. Recently we have upgraded the garden area which is quite unique and draws brilliant comments and feedback from guests. The Munster Bedroom has the most amazing comfy king sized mattress, possum fur blanket (in wintertime) and solid rosewood furniture. New Zealand and Irish art feature on the walls. The rugs I bought in Syria in 2002... in the souk in Damascus... sadly no longer. You will note some items of uniqueness and sheer beauty as you move around the house. This indeed is no ordinary home.... it is bespoke in every way, and is a exposition of many talented craftsmen and women and artists.. I look forward to sharing this experience with you. Glaslough is a short 10 minute drive with Castle Leslie Estate the jewel in the crown if the area and the famous Equestrian centre. Also bespoke chocolate shop, quirky pizza parlour, 2 fab pubs, great locals, hidden gems, and stories to keep you up late at night. Forgotten village of Mullan.. now being sympathetically restored... is 14 mins from here, and 7 mins from Glaslough. Newgange megalithic tombs are less than hour away... older than the pyramids. A must see. The forest park of Rossmore Estate. Then there us the Ulster canal cycle path ... a great new amenity here in monaghan. I have two bicycles here if you want to check out the locality on two wheels.
