Description
The Hopper Hut originally served as temporary accommodation for hop pickers. It used to house up to four families from London on their working holidays. Today, following extensive restoration, the unique square building welcomes visitors once again. Nestled on a working farm in an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers sweeping views of Bewl Water reservoir and surrounding farms. A perfect weekend base from which to explore South East England. The space Overlooking Bewl Water reservoir, close to number of castles, gardens and stately homes - Scotney Castle, Bateman’s, Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst Gardens, Pashley Manor Gardens, Bedgebury Pinetum and outdoor centre, Royal Tunbridge Wells are just a few places to visit when staying with us. Guest access The guests are welcome to walk around the farm land, but please be aware of any farm vehicles, especially if you have your dog with you. PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A PET OR TWO! Other things to note The nearby Bewl Water Reservoir means plenty of walks and also plenty of mud, please bring your wellies! As The Hopper Hut is a part of a working farm, expect some farming activity, however, when possible, we ensure that our guests enjoy peace and quiet. For those guests who are in need of some healing, we offer Reiki sessions at the Hopper Hut or our house (nearby) . Please contact us well ahead for details and to book.
