Barney's Retreat- Rustic cabin on the river!

Come enjoy this fisherman's paradise just steps from the bank of the Shenandoah River! Equipped with everything you need to feel at home, we promise you'll never want to leave! Enjoy the river views from the bank, the firepit, the hot tub, or from the large screened porch where relaxation comes naturally. The space Notes about Barney's Retreat to consider: Dogs are welcome! There is a limit of 2, with a pet fee of $50 per. Unfortunately, we can't accept cats. Sorry about that! There is a separate security deposit required for this property. Please feel free to ask us if you have any questions about it- we are happy to answer them! Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, ask us! Please note that due to the water in the area, there may be a slight sulfur smell when the water is first turned on. There is a water filter at the cabin, but there is still sometimes a little bit of an odor to the water- it is perfectly safe to drink and will dissipate very quickly, but it's something for guests to be aware of! There is no trash service in this area. We ask that you please take your trash with you- there is information in the cabin on where to go to take it so that you don't have to take it all the way home with you! (There is a facility less than a mile from the house.) Alternatively, the housekeepers can remove it for you for a tip of $5 a bag if you would prefer! Screened-in porch- Relax without bugs! Indoor wood-burning fireplace- Curl up by the fire! Fully Equipped Kitchen- Please feel free to ask us if there's a particular item you're looking for! Microwave Keurig- Easy peasy cups of coffee! High-Speed Internet- You'll still be connected if you'd like, even while getting away! Streaming TV- Watch Netflix in front of the fire! Charcoal Grill- Great for steaks! Hang out at the fire pit/picnic area with river views!
