The Polo Barn

We live on a stud farm five miles from Winchester. We’ve just finished this barn conversion that dates back to the late 1800’s. It’s absolutely stunning and the decor is peaceful and subtly gorgeous. Our new hot tub has bubbles and lights! There are horses grazing in the fields around, walks, bridleways and cycling directly from the gates. You can even ride or have a polo lesson while you stay! There’s masses to do round here, and the lovely towns of Stockbridge and Alresford are close too The space The space is absolutely beautiful. There’s a big open plan living area, and two gorgeous bedrooms. One has a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom, and the upstairs bedroom has the option of one super king or two twin beds. There is a second bathroom under the stairs. Outside there’s a large terrace where you can eat on warm days (with a Kamado Joe barbecue), a hot tub, your own private lawn, a hammock, and an outdoor sofa which gets the evening sun. Guest access You are free to explore the farm and the stables. We live here too (next door) and we have small children who will scamper past occasionally. You will have your own garden and there's a fabulous raised terrace with table, chairs and parasol. Other things to note If you want utter solitude, this probably isn’t the place, as there are horses in view and horse related activity! However if you want to stay in a beautiful building with lovely views in a fantastic location - then this IS definitely the place! You can see all the way to Watership Down on a clear day.
