Our lodge is positioned on the edge of a large fishing lake, hidden amongst great fir trees and surrounded by uninterrupted farmland. Experience lakeside living on a farm. Equipped with all the modern day living amenities, relish an escape to an isolated chalet nestled in the great British countryside. Please note, that for health and safety reasons, we have installed a barrier on the decking which includes metal rails and metal mesh. The space Keepers Cottage hosts a large downstairs, open plan, living and kitchen area. The kitchen has a microwave, fridge freezer, fan oven, induction hob, washing machine and a dishwasher as well as all the utensils one would need for a stay. The dining area holds a large table which sits six. In the living area you will find a three man sofa and a two man sofa with a comfy armchair in the middle. Finally, the main family bathroom is downstairs, with a large walk in shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a small WC leading off the landing. The master bedroom hosts a king size bed, dressing table and a small wardrobe. The second bedroom holds one double bed and one single bed, with a chest of drawers. The lodge offers a television with a DVD player. Health & Safety; Your accommodation is on the edge of water. If you make a booking with us, you accept full responsibility for your own safety. We strongly recommend that you do not bring children or people that cannot swim. Water can be very dangerous, as such, it is very important you do not swim or boat on the water. Guest access The lodge sits on the waters edge of a one and a half acre lake, within 70 acres of woodland, surrounded further by interrupted farmland. The woodland provides direct access onto a network of footpaths and farm tracks. The local village is within walking distance, and hosts a small village shop and a lovely local pub. Other things to note We have teamed up with a fully qualified SUP Yoga specialist that can offer personal yoga sessions on the water. We must highlight that the access track is not tarmac, it is unsuitable for very low sports cars, all other vehicles including hatchbacks, motor homes, estate cars, SUV’s and similar are all perfectly adequate. Please note, that we do not allow guests to swim in the lakes. As hosts we cannot accept liability for guests safety on or near the water. Please also note this is a working farm and you will be exposed to the good and the bad that comes with that. This experience is immersed in nature and therefore you are more than likely to experience that fully.
