This pretty garden room, with private entrance, is attached to Ropewalk Cottage which is tucked away in the medieval village of Alfriston in the Cuckmere Valley. Its perfect for guests wanting a peaceful break, visitors to Glyndebourne or walkers/cyclists to rest after a long day on the South Downs. It is only 10 mins drive to the beautiful beach at Seaford. There is a brilliant Village shop and oldy worldy pubs just 2 minutes walk away! The space The room can be booked on its own or in conjunction with "Whatknot" the unique carriage conversion. Please see separate listing. It has its own entrance which is separate from the main house. Entry is by key safe. Parking is on the drive. There is a comfortable double bed, TV/DVD, WiFi, mini fridge and ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast items are provided in the room/fridge along with tea/coffee/toast making facilities. Other things to note Due to the coronavirus, extra steps are being taken to clean and sanitise the areas. Special attention is paid to frequently touched surfaces between bookings.
