A 17th century, beautiful cottage set in Chawton village, and a minute's walk from Jane Austen's house & museum. It has good access to London via train or car and is the perfect escape to a quintessential English village and countryside experience. We love the cottage for its unique charm and warmth, and we hope to extend that to you during your stay! The space Bay Tree is a unique 17th Century cozy, and inviting English cottage. There are two double bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom, sitting room (with fire place), dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a small secluded back garden with lawn, flowers and an outdoor eating area. We want you to feel completely at home, and the cottage really has a special charm. We look after Bay Tree with love and care and wish our guests to feel the same. Guest access All of the cottage & garden. Other things to note There are nine steep stairs to get up to the two bedrooms. Please respect our neighbours & the village as a whole with respect to noise levels etc There is parking on the street outside the cottage The cottage will be supplied with milk, tea, coffee, breakfast cereals etc.
