Our lovingly furnished tiny houses are located directly on the shady edge of the forest, only 500 m from the Kinzig reservoir – perfect for diving in and relaxing. With 2 bedrooms, large terrace, gas grill, playground & Wi-Fi, also ideal for the home office. Dogs welcome! Now spontaneously go out into the countryside & breathe deeply. 🌞 The space The tiny house is a small cozy vacation home that can be used in any season. The house is modern and lovingly decorated and was extensively rebuilt and insulated in 2023. The house has a large terrace well equipped with various furniture. You can barbecue outside on the terrace under the open sky, enjoy the sun in the beach chair or simply relax in a daybed on the terrace adjacent to the house. On the extensively furnished terrace there is both a gas grill and a charcoal grill. A large playground for children and dogs (private, belongs to the property) is right outside the door. Other things to note The dog is charged €30 per dog per stay (not per night). Wi-Fi on the premises, the terrace and in the vacation home. Our vacation home is insulated and heated in the cold season with a gas space heater. For this, we charge a heating fee of €5/night. This is paid in cash on site. In the months of November - April, most of the furniture is put away for the winter. We clear away all carpets, upholstery, mattresses, hanging swing and hammock. The small balcony remains furnished. Under the pavilion roof, a large table with two benches and an armchair are covered and can still be used. Of course, the two grills and the fireplace. 2 e-bikes for a fee (€25/bike per day) With us, you can enjoy peace and quiet. Unfortunately, it is not possible without any working noises. Our 14,000 sqm property with meadows, hedges and trees needs to be maintained. This means that sometimes a lawn mower, leaf blower or even a brush cutter can be heard during the day. Furthermore, on the property next door, expansion work is carried out in the former restaurant from time to time. However, this is not perceived as disturbing by the guests. On the large property there are four vacation homes and a residential building with two apartments. We use one apartment as a vacation apartment ourselves and the second is rented to forest workers. The cottages are all next to each other at a distance of 30-40 meters. Each house has its own terrace. The residential building is further away. The restaurant is not visible behind the house and is not part of the vacation home premises. On the large playground there is playground equipment from the former restaurant, which, however, is not maintained. Use at your own risk, as the playground as such is no longer managed by us. The property is located outside the district of Marborn and belongs to the city of Steinau an der Strasse. It is located between forest and meadows.
