Housing This cottage is located in a medieval castle, quiet location in the center of a small village, in the heart of the Grands Causses Regional Natural Park. This apartment is in stone and exposed beams with its mullioned windows opening onto the river. You will live under a 16th century French ceiling on the 2nd floor of the castle. Sheets and blankets are provided to you during your stay. The cottage includes a dining / living room (with TV), a kitchen area (oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kitchen kit), a bedroom with double bed, a mezzanine with 2 single beds, as well as a bathroom with toilet. Outside a common terrace is at your disposal. You have in the house an iron, a cleaning kit, and a collective washing machine on request. Equipment for children can also be loaned to you on request (beds, high chair) And do not worry, central heating is present in places in winter. Travelers access Parking for tenants is available in front of the castle. You enter the premises from the east side of the building. La Grande Entrée is located opposite the village church. From the car park you climb a flight of stairs to reach a terrace which leads you to the entrance to the 18th century. Turn the handle and you are inside a medieval castle. The large hall will take you to one of the three Château gîte "Rivière" "Renaissance" or "Avoine" (total capacity 15 beds). Each lodging is independent, only the hall remains in common. Other remarks The Castle is managed by an association which has been restoring the premises for more than 25 years, these local volunteers are fighting to maintain and restore this common good. Visiting or renting a Cottage at the Château is part of an active and participative approach. Whether visits or rentals, almost 70% is reinvested in catering or cultural projects.
