Kingfisher Cottage

A cosy two bedroom cottage near Stonehenge with a private garden overlooking the river Avon. The space Kingfisher Cottage is a cosy, self-contained single storey riverside cottage in the grounds of a private home, with its own private access. It is about 7 minutes drive from Stonehenge, within 30 minutes drive from Marlborough, Wilton and Salisbury, within 40 minutes drive from Winchester, Avebury, Stourhead, Longleat, Wincanton and the New Forest, and within an hour's drive to Bowood, Lacock, Southampton, Portsmouth and Bath - amongst others! The kitchen is fairly basically equipped, but should have most things you need, including an oven/hob, microwave, weighing scales, spiralizer and mini blender. If there is anything obvious missing, please just ask/let us know. The sitting room has digital TV but you should be able to access your own Netflix/Prime account via the internet (code provided on booking). The double bedroom has a chest of drawers and a large wardrobe. The twin room has a small wardrobe. Both have hangers. The bathroom has a bath and wetroom. There is a small private riverside garden, with a small table and two chairs. If you need more chairs, please just ask us – we’ll be happy to provide them. Guest access There is access to WiFi, and there is TV and a DVD player. Parking is in a shared private driveway. Other things to note - The garden is very small (please make sure you look at the pictures). This is only really relevant for those coming with children. If you are going to be out and about, this won’t matter, but if you plan to stay around during the day, it should be a consideration. - We have a dog. She is a very friendly Labrador, but if you don’t like dogs don’t worry, as she has no access to the cottage garden or to anyone staying at the cottage. - We cannot accept hen parties or stag dos. - The cottage is no smoking.
