Come and Stay in our Charming Cottage

We are located in the historic village of Medmenham within the picturesque Hambleden Valley, just a stones throw from the River Thames and minutes from Marlow and Henley where you will find a wide selection of Bars, Cafe’s, Restaurants and Shops. The area is perfect for country walks and cycling on the Thames Path or within the picturesque Chiltern Valley where you can enjoy its popular pubs and pretty villages. It is an ideal location for exploring the area, business trips or simply relaxing. The space Knoll Cottage is a charming 17th century cottage which has been tastefully updated and extended over the years. The house has an abundance of character with many of the rooms having exposed beams. Your guest space will comprise of a vaulted bedroom complimented by a stunning bespoke en-suite bathroom. Downstairs you will have your own breakfast room and sitting room which are adjoined by a wood burning stove with access to your own terrace area. A continental breakfast will be provided along with tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a fridge, toaster and kettle for your use. It is a delightful guest space attached to the main house but completely private with a separate entrance and south facing terrace where you can relax over a lazy breakfast. You also have use of a large TV, DVD player and BT TV & Sport is available. Wifi is included with an Alexa if you wish. Guest access Your space and it’s terrace are solely for the guests use only. You will have your own access via a private entrance and do not need to enter the main house. Other things to note We have private off road parking. The Dog and Badger pub is close by offering you the opportunity to take a stroll out and enjoy a pub lunch or supper.
